Fun for a Rainy Day

Yes, it's a rainy day here. Well, today wasn't TOO rainy, just a little, but it's spring and we've been having a LOT of rainy days. The next few days look like they'll be pretty awful. On rainy days The Kids usually get to do art or science projects, whether online or at the table or in the kitchen. I thought I'd share some of my favorite online activity sites:

Mr. Picassohead -allows you to create portraits like Picasso. Make yourself, make your boss, your hubby, the kids... the possibilities are unlimited. This one is good for kids of ALL ages!!

Jackson Pollock -I totally think The Boy has a lot of Pollock tendencies... he's going to be a great artist some day, right?! Hee Hee!! Here he can practice here without the mess... and so can I!!

T H E T O Y M A K E R -I found this site while "Stumbling" one day and I've decided it's one of the coolest sites ever! You can print and make all sorts of toys for the kids to play with. No lead. And if they break... just print again... or find something new. Very cute and artistic "toys."

Hunkin's Experiments -I haven't done a whole lot with this site, but see lots of potential in it. Kids LOVE this stuff... and so will your officemates (I can totally see doing this for my officemates when I go back to work)! Check it out and amaze everyone with your new found "magic."

So, there's a few sites. I'm always looking for more, so if you happen to stop by this post and know of others... PLEASE tell me what they are!! I NEED to keep the kids from going to the dark side on rainy, gray, inside days... help my sanity...

Those are great! Thanks for sharing. My kiddos always play on starfall.com when they're stuck indoors.
